NYC - Midtown - Chef Yu

Tuesday was a super hot day, after shopping, Ms A and I wanted some nice and cold beer so we proceeded to our favourite Chinese restaurant, Chef Yu for their Happy Hour when the cocktails and beers are only $3 each. We ended up having our dinner there, we were both in the mood for some fried rice so we each ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with Cashew Nuts, mine had curry powder while she didn't want any in hers, both dishes had their distinguished taste and were yummy.

We actually chanced upon this restaurant last year and have been back again and again especially for their Happy Hour where we hang out and have our drinks. It has a great ambiance, the decor is very nice and the place is very spacious, great for parties. With the dim lighting, it is a good place for a romantic dinner. The service staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is great, very very tasty and the pricing is very reasonable. It is still our all-time favorite hang out and definitely will not stop going. Two thumbs up for Chef Yu!

Note: They have a spacious 2nd level which would make a good private party location.
