2009 - Singapore - Back ...

First of all, I would like to apologise for my long absence ... umm ... especially to my fans (if I have any at all! ... LOL). Was going thru a series of life-changing issues and also moving back to Singapore from New York City to be with my mom and family. Yes, I am still taking pictures of the wonderful and yummy food I have been eating in Singapore but not liking the weight gain ... ARGH! ... Hee! hee! Slowly I all sort them out and post them out to share with you.

Today is the big day for 2009 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, I am not sharing pics of food but a picture of Singa the official Singapore courtesy lion in his cool F1 outfit.

NYC - Midtown - Hing Won Express

Long time no eat Snow Pea 豆苗 so I decided to order that with Shrimps over white rice today, had the Sui Kow 水餃 soup on the side and was kinda disappointed because it was tasteless.

My Cooking - Bakes Macaroni and Cheese

After learning from my lovely neighbor, Ms Meta on how to make baked macaroni and cheese, I decided to make it at home and it was a success ... woo hoo!

NYC - Midtown - Pret A Manger

I wanted a small healthy snack before going to work so I decided to go to Pret A Manger to check out what they had, I didn't want any sandwiches nor pastries and I spotted the Hummus Skinny Dip which turned out to be really good! So yum and healthy!

The Hungarian Mushroom soup was yummy and addictive! Sandwiches fresh.


Service was great, counter staff very friendly and always smiling. :o)

I was walking along 47 street between 5th and Madison recently, bypassing China Moon when I saw they had changed name to PAPER MOON!

NYC – Bronx - Spanish Eatery

I have been living in my neighborhood for more than 5 years but I have never ventured into this eatery cos I thought they sold only pizzas! Oh boy was I wrong, they have Spanish food which are so delicious!

My Cooking - Stew

My family in Singapore loves using McCormick Beef Stew seasoning mix and always gets me to send some since they have stopped selling them over there. It is really a very tasty seasoning, I use it myself occasionally with beef cubes and even chicken.

NYC - Queens - Friend's son's 1st Birthday

On 12/20/08, I attended my friend's son's 1st birthday in Queens and had lots of fun. Everyone was so cool and the food was so yummy! It was a Elmo themed party and the decorations were so cute!

NYC - 2008 - Christmas

My lovely neighbor, Ms Meta invited me to her home for Christmas, she cooked up a storm and even taught me how to make baked macaroni and cheese '2B' style ... lol! All the food were so good and we were all stuffed! BURP!

NYC - Midtown - Sbarro

Haven't been to many Sbarro, this location is right smack in the middle of 5th Avenue, next to Rockefeller Center so lots of tourists will drop in for a quick bite. Food is not bad, prices and service are ok. Had the spaghetti & meatballs and they tasted pretty good. :o)
