Godiva Belgian Blends

Godiva, Godiva, Godiva ... whenever that name is mentioned, almost everyone's eyes would light up and say 'Oooooh, Godiva chocolate is sooooo good.' Check out their Godiva Belgian Blends which was launched in the US in 2006, is a collaboration between Godiva and the Coca-cola company. The hubby brought back the dark chocolate Mocha to try ... well it is still sitting in the fridge chilling till he is ready to drink it so I shall come back later and tell you what he thinks of it.

Update: The hubby likes this drink very much.

Fruit 2 O

Showing his support for my blog, the hubby will occasionally bring home some new food or drink items for me to take pics and post (also to keep me busy lah ... hehehe).

Yesterday he brought home the newly enhanced fruit flavored water 'Fruit 2 O' by Kraft which is supposedly to have zero calories. They have 4 flavors which are Immunity (Pomegranate & Berry), Relax (Tropical fruit blend), Energy (Rasberry) and Hydration (Strawberry & Tangerine). They are good thirst quencher with a refreshing taste. Drink them chilled is the best!

A & W Root Beer

Good old A & W root beer (now they have diet ... YAY!). This drink brings back much memories of my childhood back in Singapore when my dad took mom and I to the A & W restaurant at Dunearn Road where we had hot dogs and root beer float in frosted-glass mugs. Sometimes we did the drive-in and ate in the car. It was a fun outing for us every week and I would get all excited whenever I hear the word A & W being mentioned, I guess in those days, kids were more easily pleased than now. I sure miss the big A & W bear and his orange sweater.

Note: The A & W restaurant in Singapore was first opened in the year 1966 as the first fast food restaurant from America. The chain expanded in the later years, including one at Singapore Zoo which closed in 1999. It had 7 outlets around the island but the chain's Singapore operations dwindled in the 2000s and A&W finally closed in 2003.
