Nasi lemak is rice cooked in coconut milk with the classic toppings of deep fried fish (ikan kuning), cucumbers, fish cake, Otah (spicy grilled fish paste) with chilli sambal, ikan billis, roasted peanuts, curry chicken, etc.
Note to self: Remember to take pictures of the Nasi Lemak in New York.
