On 12/20/08, I attended my friend's son's 1st birthday in Queens and had lots of fun. Everyone was so cool and the food was so yummy! It was a Elmo themed party and the decorations were so cute!

NYC - Queens - Chuck E Cheese
Last week my friends and I went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate our buddy, Anthony's birthday. We were like a bunch of kids and had a really fun time eating pizza and playing games.

NYC - Lower Manhattan - Dean & Deluca
Hubby’s birthday was in April and I got him his usual favorite ‘Busy Bee’ cake from Dean and Deluca again like every other of his birthdays … heh heh, this time round they changed the topping to flowers instead of little bees … go figure, I am still puzzled myself … hahaha!

Happy Birthday Maria, My Lovely Neighbor!
Yesterday was my lovely neighbor, Maria's 41st Birthday, she had a celebration at home so I dropped by after work to hang out. She had so much delicious food and drinks. Too bad I couldn't hang out and party cos I had to work the next day and my energy level was almost zero, so I ate, had a beer and went home around midnight ... heh heh.

NYC - Lower Manhattan - Chinatown - Peking Duck House
I had been craving
for Peking Duck for weeks so for my birthday, Ms A and I decided to have it at Peking Duck House in Chinatown. I have heard much about the restaurant, read good reviews, the service was pretty good and I am quite impressed with the nice and modern decor. However the Peking Duck is different from those we have back home in Singapore, over here they slice the skin together with the meat but in Singapore they slice the skin only and have the meat stir-fry as another dish. The pancake which is used as the wrap was too thick and from the looks, it reminds us of tortilla.
. Oh, don't get me wrong, the duck did taste pretty good and the sauce was nice. The handmade noodle with pork was good too. We did enjoy the meal very much and we will be back again to try other dishes.

Happy Birthday Princess Ashleigh!!!
My darling God-daugther who is actually my niece, Little Miss Ashleigh turned 4 today!
YAY! How time flies, our lil Princess has grown a year older, smarter and prettier. I have to say she and her brother, Andrew are our pride and joy, they have both brought some much happiness to everyone of us and we love them soooooooooooooooo much.
Earlier in the day, Ashleigh had a fun birthday party at Mcdonalds with her classmates, her mommy got her a lovely castle ice-cream cake. And in the evening, the family celebrated the happy occasion at a restaurant serving Penang food, her mommy actually homemade an ice-cream cake for her for that party, I was not there to taste it but I am sure it tasted very good. Yes, the lil princess requested for the ice-cream cakes .... heh heh.
