I used to pay between USD$4 to USD$4.50 for the chicken over rice in midtown, I couldn’t believe it when they they charged me USD$6 recently, even the portions have shrunken ... WTF right! I know prices of food has been on the rise but a price hike of almost $2 is absolutely sickening! Bunch of crooks!When the hubby and I was downtown last week, I still see the halal carts there selling their chicken over rice for $4.75.
