Yesterday I was very happy because I was awarded Employee of the Month (June 2008) at my job.As it was recognition day, my manager had tricked me (she is a true trickster and got me good this time ... ha!) to go in a little earlier. As they were announcing the nominee names, I heard my name being mentioned and my heart was beating soooooooooo fast, when they called out my name as the winner, I almost wanted to cry and was in disbelief ... haha ... I know I know I am so drama but that was really how I felt at that moment ... hee hee. I was given a certificate, a badge, a pin and $75 Amex gift certificate ... WOO HOO!!! People have been coming up to congratulate me and it really felt so good ... heh heh.
